Hey everyone, I've got both good news and bad news. As for the good, as promised I'm going to continue with taking the weekend games on the road, this time into the North Beach and Telegraph Hill areas. As for the bad, I won't be able to make this a night game as I've previously suggested. It'll instead be on the afternoon of the HvZ game at SFSU, so those who are making it into the city for some zombie mayhem can warm up before hand with some spy action in the afternoon.
Because of this, I will be temporarily lifting the flywheel and magazine ban on the condition that they be used only with magazines that can hold no more than ten darts or discs. IIRC, that means dart magazines are capped at six, discs at ten. If your gun holds ten or more without a magazine, I'll allow it. I know most of us won't have a chance to go home and change gear, and I don't want anybody underarmed against the undead so I'll be nice this game and let you guys carry a bit more firepower for once.
As for the actual game, I have some interesting ideas planned. I'm aware that the last game's distances were quite far for some, so I'm going to try to keep it short this time so we can conserve some energy for running from zombies later on. We'll be meeting at Broadway and Embarcadero in front of The Water Front Cafe(which is a little past Pier 7). The game is likely going to end near the Embarcadero Center or The Ferry Building. We'll probably grab a bite to eat and relax afterwards before jumping on the Muni towards SFSU.
See you all in a few weeks. Don't forget to bring your hat and your Nerf blaster, and if it's magazine fed please remember this game will have a capacity limit(ten).
