**Happy New Year & Hello! I'm looking forward to continuing our Options MeetUps in 2019 on the Wednesday of Expiration week... HOWEVER, I'm going to a DFA event in Santa Monica on 1/16 so am changing our first meeting of the year to 1/23**

(Below is standard meeting greeting)

It was fun to see everyone on the 2018 Return of the "East Bay Options Traders" meetup! Let's continue to plan to meet the Wednesday of the week of Options Expiration week - the 3rd Friday of each month.

This will enable us to fine-tune any trades we have on for expiration & plan rolls / closeouts/ etc.

The plan will be to follow an institutional "Investment Committee Agenda" to start the conversation, and move on to topics on the mind of the group: newbies to learn, intermediates to talk strategy, and the advanced to get into the weeds. We will occaisonally bring guest speakers, and turn to CNBC's weekly "Options Action" show to review trades / ideas/ segments and compare it to our own portfolios and goals.

All-levels* are welcome & Looking forward to seeing this group again!

PS - Below is the meeting agenda (subject to the demands of the group):

6:30-6:45PM East Bay Options Traders Newbies*
6:45-7:00PM East Bay Options Traders reconnect & introductions
7:00-7:15PM Investment Committee Discussion
7:15-7:45PM Group discussion & current topics - World Volatility Monitor & "CNBC Options Action" trade reviews & evaluations
7:45-8PM Post-presentation discussion & Event Recap for EBOTraders, as well as future discussion topics

*For Newbies, We'll take the first 15 minutes to introduce the concepts of "Selling Volatility" and the merits of Selling Options. A recommended six-pager primer is a CBOE whitepaper that is mostly graphs and should take ~six minutes to read:
