What we're about

San Francisco Perl is the first San Francisco Bay Area Perl Users' Group! We had our first meeting on June 9, 1998. Were you there? Come join us for food, drink, and discourse with the Bay Area's Premier Perl Hacker Community. And join our mailing list at http://sf.pm.org for Perl discussions.

If you're a Facebook user, please Like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SanFranciscoPerlMongers).

This meetup group is about Perl Programming and Perl Programmers and related subjects...

Informal Study Group: P̶e̶r̶l̶̶̶6̶ Raku

Blue Oak Cafe

This is an informal series of study sessions focused on (though not at all limited to) the new language Raku (formerly known as "Perl 6"). A break from the past and one of the contenders for language of the future. We meet at the cafe in the Oakland Museum (open to the public) for a relatively unstructured gathering focusing on chatting and shoulder-surfing, without a lot of planned presentations-- though if you've got something you'd like to show off, by all means bring it with you.
