The job search process can be a frustrating and lonely process. What makes it particularly difficult is not receiving feedback on so much of what you do. You can be struggling to find a job for months while it seems others land new jobs effortlessly. What techniques allow some people to become re-employed more rapidly than others? What best practices do they use, and how can you learn to master them yourself?
Join Brandi Mandato, Senior Manager of Business Services at JVS - an industry-leading workforce development organization in the SF Bay Area for almost 40 years - as she brings to light the techniques and best practices used by successful job seekers. Brandi provides an overview of effective job search skills, as supported by extensive analysis of trends among the most successful job seekers at JVS, as well as insight on how YOU can master their practices yourself.
What you can expect to learn and gain:
• How to successfully leverage your soft skills to get re-employed quickly
• How to accelerate your job search process
• Practical experience applying the techniques presented in your own job search through group work and reflection.
