Join us for a great urban hike along one of the most beautiful scenic routes in S.F. -- Presidio through Lands End to Ocean Beach. Have a great time socializing while meeting new friends & enjoy lots of fun & laughter. Members in the group are always nice & friendly. We always have a lot of fun whenever we all get together with a couple of other meetup groups also invited -- So join in on the fun! We look forward to seeing you there!

We will meet at the Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery for coffee, introductions & meet & greet. At 3:15 pm, we will start by walking by the historic S.F. landmark, the Palace of Fine Arts. From there, we walk through the Presidio, then trek along the beautiful coastal trail passing Bakers Beach & China Beach. Then we head through Lands End Trails -- the wildest, rockiest corner of San Francisco, a land full of rich history and spectacular nature. Trails at Lands End offer a cliff-top walk through dark cypress and open grass and views up and down the California coast with many points of interest including: Eagles Point, USS San Francisco Memorial, Battery Chester/Fort Miley, Sutro Baths, Cliff House & Ocean Beach. It's quite a distance, so you will get a pretty good workout. After, we will take a bus (20 min) to Clement Street for some tasty Asian food around 7pm. (After dinner, many of the members usually take the Muni back to downtown (15min).

-- This is an advanced beginners to intermediate level walk. We will be going at a moderate pace. --

PARKING INFO: We usually get some late-comers because of parking issues. Parking is difficult in this busy area, especially on weekends. I would highly recommend public transportation if at all possible. But, if you need to drive in, here is a link for parking garages in the area. See the link below to check out garages in the area.

AFTER URBAN HIKE: If 3 or more members are interested in going for food &/or drinks after -- we can decide to go to a local place nearby.
