The San Francisco Friday Night Skate

Before the first cyclist began to ride what is now Critical Mass, we have been skating the San Francisco Friday Night Skate. Come go for a skate with the Midnight Rollers!!! We meet every Friday night for a 12 mile skate/party through the streets of the City. We hit all the hot spots like Pier 39, the Palace of Fine Arts. Union Street, the Broadway and Stockton tunnels, Union Square and the Concrete Canyons of downtown San Francisco.

We meet at the Ferry  Building each and every Friday night at 9PM and end at midnight.  Our route takes us in a huge circle as we start and end at the Ferry Building.  The event is free and we have a portable sound system to roll the party along.

You must have your own skates.  You must be able to skate at a moderate pace for at least 1 mile.  We have many places we stop along the route, so you don't have to be an expert. For more info on the Friday Night Skate go to http://www.cora.org/friday.phtml
