Church 1.0 Community Spiritual Dialogue
Come, have coffee and sit with us for relaxing moments of singing, praying and mindful group conversation. Some of the themes of our discussions are internal peace, empowerment, relationship with the divine, relationship with each other, love, grace, deconstruction of a harmful religious past, acceptance, loss, pain, compassion. We use the Bible and several different authors as source of content for our meetings. Some of the recent authors we read are Karen Armstrong, Richard Rohr, David Benner, Anne Lamott, Harold Kushner, Chris Glaser, Jack Kornfield, Henry Nowen and many others. We rent the stunning chapel of the Unitarian Universalist Center on the corner of Geary and Franklin Streets.

What we're about

Let's get together to engage in passionate dialogue about God, love, life, justice and community. Together we can discuss ways to exercise practical and relevant spirituality in the 21st century as we provide each other companionship on this journey. We have a space where people can feel safe to share their own experience, express doubts and find support. This can interaction can be helpful, fun and promote personal growth.
