POTLUCK THEME: Menu from the GARDEN OF FRAGRANCE. We will celebrate peak season in the Garden of Fragrance by each choosing a different herb or edible flower that usually grows there, and bringing a brunch dish featuring that ingredient. Here's a partial list of herbs and edible flowers that may grow in the Garden of Fragrance if you want to begin thinking about recipes: lavender, rosemary, mint, lemon verbena, sage, chamomile, lemongrass, holy basil, thyme, bay, calendula, juniper, marjoram, orange blossom, borage, nasturtiums, anise hyssop... and many more.
POTLUCK ENTERTAINMENT: This will be held during the SF Botanical Gardens annual "FLOWER PIANO" event, so after brunch we can stroll the gardens to enjoy the music as long as we wish. You will hear everyone from virtuosos to amateurs playing everything from Chopin to Scott Joplin to Led Zeppelin as we explore the gardens searching for the 12 pianos hidden away in unexpected places. https://www.sfbg.org/flowerpiano
