Bay Trail 20-Miler Beer Run

NOTE!!! This is cross post from Berkeley Running Club and due to limited space it is capped at 30ppl.

We will do 20 flat miles along the Bay Trail - head out to the coast line, loop around Cesar Chavez Park, run down to the very end of Emeryville Marina and back. If you don't feel like doing full 20 miles or are on slower side, shorter option of 10 and 5 miles will be available. Exact course map will be posted in a few days.

*Although there are a few water fountain locations in Emeryville and Cesar Chavez Park, please consider bringing your own water supply AND be sure to bring some fuel (i.e. gel packets, shot blocks, small snacks, etc.) to keep you going! Weather is also at times unpredictable - could be super windy or very sunny so please check the forecast a day or two prior and plan accordingly with your run.

Free parking available in the BART parking lot. However, everyone is encouraged to take public transit, especially if you will be staying behind for the beers after.

Run will be followed by home-made beer and Bosnian BBQ, compliments of Arslan. Veggie soup and other veggie option will be available. Rye Hefe, Pale Ale, Double IPA, Imperial Stout and few other flavors will be served. Note: Double IPA took 1st place on Eat Real Festival in Oakland last year :) Food is all made from scratch and procured at farmers market and as local as possible.

To pay for all ingredients and keep these parties going we suggest a $20 donation but as always no one will be turned down for a luck of funds :)
