What is Kundalini?
Called the “yoga of awareness,” Kundalini focuses on the movement of energy in the body to expand sensory awareness and intuition. Here you will find a harmonious blend of postures, pranayama, mantra, music and meditation. Kundalini is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline for developing strength, endurance, awareness, inner peace, and character. Its purpose is to cultivate the essentials needed to speak truthfully to oneself and others, and focus on the compassion and consciousness needed to heal & serve.

She fell in love with Kundalini yoga in 2008 where she studied at the School of Santhi in Kerala, India, and has been teaching ever since. She also has a degree in counseling psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Amy offers a safe, accepting healing space for individuals from all walks of life. What do I need to bring? Comfortable clothing, and open mind! Be prepared to do a little chanting (no singing talent required). This is a class for all levels. Modifications will be offered for those who need them. Please try not to eat anything one hour before class starts.
There is a $17 charge, and 3 classes for $35 special that lasts for 30 days. If that works for you, I hope to meet you soon! If not, stay tuned for more workshops, and other SF area Kundalini class offerings in the near future!
