Exploring the theme of suffering in the Bible
Bring a Bible and perhaps something on which to take notes. Look for me, Matthew. I'll have a Meetup sign displayed.

What we're about

We live in a broken world. We experience brokenness. Many of us have been hurt, abused, betrayed, even in or by the church, a place where we thought we might find answers, healing, a Savior. This group is for those who have been hurt, abused, and betrayed, but believe or are open to the truth that there is a Savior and that He is revealed to us in the Bible.

This group is for those who, for whatever reason, feel presently unwilling to darken to the door of a church and yet may still hold out hope that they can find answers to their difficult questions, peace for their troubled souls, a family of others who lovingly sympathize, and a Savior who does not put to shame, who is not ashamed of us, and who gives everlasting life, rest, and peace. Let's sit down together and search the Scriptures together.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
