What is your UX Philosophy?

UX is a science that includes a broad range of disciples, such as cognitive psychology, ethnography, design, business, and computer science. A good UX designer should have the ability to back-up their designs with human factors principles. In addition, a UX person should always keep the users in mind throughout the entire process of their design and research.

When I am designing a website, my first step is to understand the users.


I am a graduate student in the Human Factors/Ergonomics program at SJSU. I am very much interested in Human Factors research, particularly human-robot interaction, touch-screen interface, mobile design, and individual differences.
