Please introduce yourself & your corgi(s):

So don't be suprised if some little boy (who looks like a girl, because he has long hair) comes tookin' around, asking you if you know anything about Elfieland. Playing along would be ideal and we would be very grateful. But if not, he said that corgis all have amnesia when they leave, and they forget how to talk and remember Elfieland, so don't feel bad. My Husband and I and Kadem will be at any corgi event nearby to where we live in Escondido.

Why join our group?

We love our little Corgi, and our little 5 yr old boy has decided to create a whole story about how Elfie is the Queen of Elfieland (A magical place, entirely populated by corgis) who got lost as a royal puppy and has lived with us ever since, and now is trying to find her way back to her kingdom. In the most recent tales (he has made this all up on his own) Elfieland was destroyed by evil robots, namely Robobear and RoboSnail, and all the other Tookie Bears (corgis are not really dogs, but more related to a koala bear) escaped during the destruction and all have found people (their owners) to help them in getting back to Elfieland and restoring it to it's once utopian like existence. i found this meet up and told Kadem that i sent out a message to all the other corgis to meet at Balboa park next weekend and then he can see a bunch of adorable corgis in mass.

How far from home are you willing to travel for monthly Meetups?

into san diego or ocean side, or further depending on the amount of corgis

Does your corgi have a blog or other links (fb, twitter, mycorgi.com) you wish to share? Please list them now.

Nope

Introduction

Our corgi goes by many names. Tookie Bear, Bunny Bottom, Sausage Fox, the list goes on and on, but her given name is Elphaba, or Elfie for short. We think she is the silliest, craziest, most adorable creature in the animal kingdom.

What Rachael F. is saying about this Meetup Group

Great people, glad so many corgi lovers are taking time to do this every month. I only wish there were more corgis. The dogs are the best! Its the #1 greatest thing we look forward to every month that we know will make us smile till it hurts. All the tookie bears get along great, even though they are all a little (as we say) "snarkel-ey" some times, and all the people are so nice. Corgis are cuter in mass
