12 Years A Slave (2013)

"A man living in New York during the mid-1800s is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the deep south."

'12 years A Slave' (2013) (Trailer below)

Just an FYI for everyone - This film is starting to get A LOT of buzz as possibly being the best picture of the year and possibly taking the Oscar.

Since this is opening night: Although there's no guarantee...this could be a busy night and you may want to buy your tickets in advance. There also may be "nobody" there. lol. But this is just a heads up in case.

If you do want to purchase tickets ahead of time, you can go to Fandango starting Tuesday...or purchase them directly from the theater at the following link (for the 7:15pm showing):

Great, Nat! I should be there by 6:30pm...or 6:40pm at the latest - and we'll definitely head in no later than 6:55pm to ensure we get decent seats. ;)

Hope everyone's having a great week! Just some info for the Film and Parking -

Although the movie starts at 7:15pm, the group will be meeting in the lobby starting at 6:45pm and heading into the theater at 6:55pm. If you don't make it to the lobby by 6:55pm, no problem. Either look for the group in the actual theater...or look for us after the film.

There's 3 hours of free parking underneath the theater, which can be accessed on 5th Ave. need to make sure you get your ticket validated at the box office to get those 3 free hours. You can also get additional offers of validation at restaurants afterward.

I saw Michael Fassbender's interview with John Stewart for this movie's promotion... It's was fantastic. I'll try to make it to this one.
