The San Diego Marathon Clinic is open to all runners and walkers from beginner to advanced.
The Marathon Clinic since 1975 has been teaching runners and walkers of all levels how to run and walk properly to minimize injuries.
The Clinic has always been free.
Group meets at DeAnza Cove on Sundays at 8 am.
Group warms up for about 8 minutes to allow any latecomers to get there.
Runners do a social 6 mile and a social 8 mile. Sometimes a social 10. There is a group that does 13 miles. Walking group breaks up into walks of 3 to 5 miles.
Ozzie Gontang, director since the late 70's teaches an introduction to Pose Method and ChiRunning.
Ozzie does a slow 3 to 4 mile training run to introduce people to the Pose Method and ChiRunning along with injury prevention tips.
