Ever dream of being a breath away from Grey Whales?
Gayle Van Leer is on her 4th passport and is always looking for that next travel adventure especially if it includes water and the critters that inhabit it.
She spent 5 days with California Grey whales at the San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja Mexico last spring, Latin America’s largest wildlife sanctuary.
Come share her adventure, pictures and stories. Gayle says, that “Having grown up seeing the annual grey whale migration passing by our coasts, this adventure was especially rewarding and the interactions, including actually touching the whales, beyond just extraordinary.”
We'll be gathering at the La Jolla Brewhouse in their event room for the slide show and talk. They're providing $5 Martini's and Mojitos along with $2 beer and a special menu for those of you not too excited to eat!
Want to go see the whales yourself? We'll be discussing forming a group tour for next winter. Don't miss this talk!
Suggested donation of $5 at the door. This is being co-organized with the Travel Well and Meet, Plan, Go San Diego meetups.
