Hello Yorkie Lovers,
Mary, a member of our group, is in need of re-homing her beloved Buddy. It breaks her heart but she knows it is the best thing for him. I have included her emails to me here with the details. I also posted two pictures of Buddy that she provided in our photo section. I hope we can find a good solution for Buddy and Mary.
Here are the emails with the details:
Hello, unfortunely a series of events necesitate rehoming my
yorkie. a few months ago we moved from a home with yard to a
condo, my 4 year old neutered male yorkie was happy living in a
home with a yard. He developed severe separation anxiety
living in a condo. I found an open adoption for him with a
retired couple in a home with a yard and he was loving it.
unfortunely they both passed away last week and again he is
miserable. If you or know of someone that would be interested
in an open adoption please email me. I would ask that he live
in a home with a yard(he loves to play in a yard), home most of
the time and send me updates on how he is doing occasionally.
he is a very friendly guy, loves everybody, likes to go on long
walks, sit in your lap and just please you, he is housebroken.
likes other dogs and thinks cats are dogs too. this is very
hard for me, but even harder knowing how miserable he was
living in a condo and know it is not fair to him. thank you,

so sorry to bother you when you are on vacation. I am at work right now and can not post pictures. Buddy is a very friendly 4 year old male, neurtered, approx 11 lbs(not fat, just tall/long) he is housebroken, does suffer separation anxiety, loves walks, backyards and laps to sit in. I am in no hurry at this time, but over the next couple of weeks would like to find him a home. in the meantime he is staying in temporary home. I have been to yorkie meetups when we lived in the UTC area, we are now living in La Mesa. I remember reading your post about Zoe, very touching, that is why I am trying to re-home in the yorkie society. I have also put out the word at my work, but want to find the best situation for Buddy, it breaks my heart to find him his third home. I do not have any profile pictures, but will send them to you tonight.
attached above are pictures of Buddy, this hurts so bad, can I sent out an email to members of the yorkie meetup group? if not, can you? asking anyone interested to send me an email.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
