For those of you who do not know AsiaSF, it's not your run-of-the-mill restaurant. I've never been here before, but everyone has told me they had an awesome experience. Here's a brief description from their Google+ page:
“Super-hot drag queens” put on a “fierce” show lip-synching to “cabaret, show tunes and pop songs” after serving “surprisingly tasty” Asian fusion fare at this “wild” SoMa spot.
Some of the Google+ reviews are:
"An experience for sure!! Super fun and surprisingly amazing food! Well worth it and would definitely come back. A short but entertaining visit, good fun all around" "Surprisingly tasty asian-fusion food, a fierce and entertaining show, and a fun and fruity special cocktails menu. What's not to love?" "Asiasf is a total hilarious place to go. those tranny waitresses can fool any guy to think they are women. sorry, they are guys! funny place! good laughs, good fun."
(Note: due to being a large group, we are dining off the Platinum menu)
Jennifer and I are cohosting this event for a table of 8. Since she had to put her credit card to reserve the table, we will pick and choose who can come along. Here's the steps for the selection process:
Put yourself on the waitlist if you are interested. We will select diners who have no late cancellations/no-shows. We will select people who have good references from the organizing team. We will contact you (via email) if you have been selected. You have 3 days to pay the $1 RSVP fee to secure your spot. Otherwise, you will be moved to the waiting list again and someone else will take your spot. Please be aware of what type of event this is: food, transgender waitresses and performers, and wild (and fun) experience ^_^...check out their Yelp page for more details.
