San Francisco Irish Culture Group Update

From: Marlene
Sent on: Thursday, September 9, 2010 4:06 PM
A Chara,

My aim at this time is to provide regular updates to everyone in our group.

There are several things on our agenda to get started!

Firstly, I would like to thank several members for their enthusiasm and suggestions ...

Jim
Marycolette
Neil Campbell
Se?n Darragh Ryan
Susan Milne

And of course to welcome our new members as of this last month or so ...

Lawrence
Sean
Flo
Shannon
Vanessa Newkirk
John K
Darragh
Ann

And of course all of our other Summer joiners.

Sl?inte gach duine!

Right now events are listed in Petaluma, which I know is a bit North of San Francisco, however this is where my Irish speaking group meets.

Susan Milne has graciously offered to host events in San Francisco in addition to myself. If you are interested in also suggesting or hosting events (even something as simple as to get some together for a drink or some craic) please let me know, I am always looking for to add more people to our leadership team. I don't care how often or little you organize an event, any help is appreciated!

I am hoping to get something organized very soon after the UICC Irish Speaking Event (Deireadh
Seachtaine Gaeltachta), perhaps even sooner before the end of this month.

Ideally, I need everyone's suggestions. So please, if you haven't been back here in a while please stop by again soon. And if you have been here, let's get some events going!

I'll end on this happy proverb:

N? neart go cur le ch?ile.
There is no strength without unity.

Go raibh maith agat!
Marlene
