  • Moderate/Open to Public/$5 parking fee

Join the Sandhill Chapter for our monthly weekday kayak/canoe/SUP day trip on a local river or spring run.

We'll meet up at 9 am at Gores Landing County Park, unload at the ramp, then shuttle cars up to the Eureka West boat ramp.  There is a $5 parking fee.  Plenty of parking, no wheelies are needed at the launch sites.  Restrooms are available at both parks

The total mileage is about 8 miles and the trip, including a break for lunch, will have us back at our cars around 3 pm. The paddle is all downstream and fairly easy with a couple of places to get out and stretch.

You'll have to provide your own kayak/canoe/SUP as there are no local outfitters.  Bring boat, paddle, PFD with whistle, lots of water, sunscreen, insect repellent, wide-brimmed hat, lunch.
