What we're about

Want to share your passion for exploring feminist readings with others?

The Sanskaari Girls Book Club is the place for you!

We’re taking the idea of ‘being sanskaari’ and flipping it on its head - join us! The book club is a safe space to explore readings, inspire conversations around women, and their role in the becoming world.

You can add readings / authors you would like to see included in the SG Book Club here: http://tiny.cc/crowdsourced-sanskaari .

Current Read: DECEMBER, 2019 BOOK: Bama's Tamil Autobiography: Karukku translated in English by Lakshmi Holmstrom

OCTOBER, 2019 BOOK: Sachin Kundelkar's Marathi Novel Cobalt Blue translated in English by Jerry Pinto
AUGUST, 2019 BOOK : "Ms Militancy" by Meena Kandasamy.

The venue for the meetup alternates between Gurgaon, Delhi, and Noida so that members across the three cities have equal opportunity to participate. If we see that there's a demand for a particular city we expand our team to run them parallelly. But do ensure you attend the meetups :)
