Join fellow Sanskrit newbies, students, and others to learn, practice and share in this most ancient and sacred language.  There are three subgroups, 1) new beginner;  2) beginners and 3) beginner to intermediate.

1) New Beginner - none or little exposure - focus is on learning alphabet, pronounciation, short/abreviated vowels, compound consonants, etc...

2) Beginner to Advanced Beginner - has memorized or working knowledge of 1) above; working on learning vowel, visarga, and consonants sandhis (joining) and some verb conjugation and nouns.

3) Advanced Beginner to Early Intermediate - working knowledge of 1 and 2 above.  Working on verb conjugation and nouns and sentence formations.

All members welcome to lead and co-lead meetings; except for new beginners, all are expected to actively participate and eventually lead/present subject matter/topics of interest.
