This group is for GIANT BREED DOGS* (please see breeds listed below) and their owners. We meet for walks, hikes, trips to the beach, play dates, etc. Come meet other owners and their dogs, exchange stories, share pictures, and get advice about these gentle giants.
As a member of the group, you are responsible for your dog and its behavior/actions. This group promotes responsible and educated dog ownership; training and socialization; dog adoption and responsible, ethical breeding practices; and involvement in the community/supporting organizations that work toward animal wellness, adoption, education, etc. We want the group to represent the wonderful nature and personalities of giant breeds, as well as educate others about them.
It is not necessary to RSVP "No" to events, however if you are planning to come, you do need to RSVP "Yes". This is not only so that we know who to expect, but also if nobody has RSVP'd "Yes" by day of/shortly before an event, the event may be cancelled last minute.
Membership fees are not required, however if you would like to donate a small amount to helpcover the cost of maintaining the Web site (which is $89.94 every 6 months), it is much appreciated! :)
