Artificial Swarm Intelligence using Ruby on Rails
Santa Barbara on Rails is back after a hiatus! Alex McClure from Unanimous AI will talk about their Swarm AI technology built on Rails! Join us at AppFolio building 50 on Wednesday, May 30th. About Unanimous AI: We’re excited to have the opportunity to join the Santa Barbara on Rails Meetup community in a couple of weeks. Based out of San Luis Obispo, Unanimous AI has pioneered a new form of AI known as Artificial Swarm Intelligence or Swarm AI. We model our software and algorithms after swarms in nature and connect groups of people via real-time closed loop systems, which allows us to amplify human intelligence. In addition to recently winning the “Most Innovative AI Company Award” and “Best in Show for Innovation Award” at SXSW, we have also won an incredible number of high profile challenges, including forecasting the winners of the 90th Academy Awards with 94% accuracy, perfectly forecasting Trump’s 100-day approval rating before he took office, and most notably, predicting the Kentucky Derby Superfecta. Best of all, we are built primarily on Ruby on Rails! Hope to meet you at the Meetup. About Alex McClure: I joined Unanimous AI in January to lead Product & Technology. Having been a part of several amazing teams at companies like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft before this, I can honestly say that this is an incredibly exciting time to be in the field of AI. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. Pizza and beverages will be provided by Unanimous AI and AppFolio. Presentation will start approx. 6:30 pm.
