Vasquez Rocks to the PCT
This is an amazing park with interesting geological formations. Be sure to bring your camera for some spectacular photos. From the parking area, Angela will be leading you south on the PCT, through the animal corridor which goes under the SR-14 freeway, and beyond, towards Mexico! The total mileage for the day will be 10 miles. Hikers who want to do less can turn around at any point.
Bring: camera, snacks, lunch, lots of water. Dress in layers as the weather can be unpredictable, and change rapidly! Wear shoes with good tread as wet areas on rocks can be slippery. Hiking poles are helpful.
