What we're about

This group is for people who resonate with the idea of practicing yoga outdoors and spending some intentional time coming home to themselves in nature.

The Santa Cruz Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for us to connect, reflect, and unplug, creating the space to become fully present with ourselves. Our yoga & forest bathing site is a private 20 + acre forest residence that is adjacent to a 2,500 acre state park near the town of Ben Lomond.

About the Yoga Practice: It is gentle, about an hour lone, and focused on presence, pranayama, and accessible postures.

About Forest Bathing: The practice, which originated in Japan, is also called Shinrin-Yoku. It became part of a national public health plan there in the early 80s, with studies that link spending time being in the presence of trees to a decrease in cortisol ( a stress hormone).

We walk very slowly, covering a short distance in our time together. While the trails are not steep and we do not go far, we do encounter uneven terrain. More information about forest bathing can be found here:
