Learn to Make Stuffed Pasta & White Elephant Party

  • With the holidays right around the corner, this month instead of having to plan your meal ahead of time, we'll be cooking together! Alyssa will help us make fresh stuffed pasta on site. All materials will be provided and you'll be asked to pay a portion of the total. This will vary based on how many people attend, but you should expect to pay around $10-$15. Please bring cash or message Sheana if you want to pay via credit card.

We'll also do a holiday gift exchange: the white elephant game! Gifts should not cost more than $20 and should be food/cooking related. It should be wrapped, so that we can't see what's in it (but for the sake of ease, feel free to "wrap" in in a sealed bag from Ralphs, or whatever super lazy option you want!)

The menu isn't officially finalized, but it will look something like this:

Pastas: Egg pasta, Beet & Ricotta Gnocchi, Spinach pasta dough, and Tomato Pasta dough.

Sauces: Brown Butter & Sage Sauce and Marinera

We will be mixing together the egg, spinach, and tomato pasta doughs to make patterned sheets for some ravioli and stuffing them with roasted winter squash and butter.

Then we'll be able to mix and match pastas with sauces.

A HUGE thank you to Alyssa for developing the menu AND shopping for all of the ingredients! Everyone should give her a high five upon arrival.

Hey Alyssa, I'll be there a bit late hopefully by 4:30 provided that 405 doesnt turn into a parking lot during my run to LAX. Looking forward to the lesson! (btw, did you end up posting your sweet potato/carrot recipe somewhere?)--cindy
