This group is for anyone looking to improve their state of health and well being through the practice of Qigong. Also written as Qi Gong or Chi Kung, Qigong is a traditional Chinese medicine movement practice that promotes health and longevity. All skill levels are welcome and the physical demands of this practice are quite mild compared to other movement practices like yoga or pilates.
I started this group because of my love for the benefits of this traditional breath and movement practice. Through practice, Qigong offers practitioners a deep sense of calm and strength. This goal is accomplished through a series of physical movements which are linked to breath.
