Community Garden opportunity

From: user 7.

Hello Fellow Permaculturists,

One of our new members, Marissa Zaremba has brought a great opportunity to us. She is working with Bee Ridge Presbyterian Church to create a Community Garden that will teach the church youth earth stewardship and provide produce for the local homeless. This follows perfectly the 3 ethical tenets of permaculture, Care of Earth, Care of People & Equitable Distribution of Earth's Yield.

I am still obtaining information. We are looking for volunteers to help implement. Please respond to this e-mail if you are interesting in helping and let me know in what capacity.

Our Sponsors

  • Grow Permaculture

Offering a forum to meet each other and forward permaculture in the area

  • Myakka Aquatics

Native freshwater fish, Japanese Koi , pond building and stocking.
