    About Evergreen Cemetery is a garden style cemetery in the Deering neighborhood of Portland, Maine. With 239 acres of land, it is the largest cemetery in the state. Established in 1855 in what was then Westbrook, the cemetery is home to one of the state's most prominent collections of funerary art. Coffee talk after an hour sketch at a nearby cafe.

    4PM: Museum Visit and sketching there or outside. 3:45PM arrival recommended. 4:45: Train Ride, sketch from the moving train!!! Ride is only like 20 min but still an experience. We will join another wonderful Meetup group "Just Play Portland" for a Museum tour and an Ice Cream Train Ride. Romantic Alert!!! - Meet like-minded absolute beginners - Bring 3 things: something to sketch on, something to sketch with and you. - Sketch from the train while moving, outside, or at the museum. - Please RSVP - Museum is $5 but I heard it is free if you also book a train ride. (no idea how much is that) - Somewhere along the lines there will be icecream. Not sure :) Weather: sunny again and a gorgeous sunset very likely!
