Savannah is making big strides in sustainable living, but bulk shopping isn't one of them. Let's practice a little collaborative consumption to make up the difference. Bring something useful to share and some empty jars to trade for something you need. For example, did you make a big batch of jam, or did you get the bulk size bag of washing soda? Bring it in to trade for my fresh, homemade butter. Do you find yourself stocking up on green items while you're out of town? Did you invest in a big brick of Shea butter to make your own lotion? Have too many Mason jars? Sew your own un-paper towels or face cloths?
**Or just come grab a drink, get ideas and trade your local tips for trash free living.**
Other useful items could include: bulk essential oils, dry grocery, Castile soaps (liquid or brick), dryer balls, xylitol, Savin de Marseille, plants in biodegradable containers, wax pencils, activated charcoal, any of the items that make DIY zero waste living a little easier in Savannah.
Looking forward to taking big steps towards a Zero Waste future! See you at the South end of the park near the tennis courts.
