Tech/Professional Employment Advice & Workshop, Featuring SF Job Forum
Janet Beach is hosting this event. This is a friendly share. I had found it insightful and useful, for those seeking employment in San Francisco. Here is an effort to assist with those whom have asked and are seeking employment in local creative, tech and management professions. The Job Forum is a FREE community service aimed at helping people find jobs in the San Francisco Bay Area. We help you to be more successful in getting the job you want. The emphasis is on intelligently planning and conducting the job finding campaign. The Job Forum has local SF Bay Area managers who tell you the truth about a modern job search and brainstorm ways to help you succeed! The event offers job search coaching, customized brainstorming and problem-solving to jobseekers and career changers. We discuss each individual's job search questions one by one and offer helpful job search suggestions in an open forum. It gives one ideas and actions to move forward. Typical Topics Include: Resumes • Contacts • Interviews • Networking • Job Goals • Online Job Search • Career Changes • First Time Job Searches • Job Information Sources • Long Absences from the Labor Market • Long & Short-Term Career Objectives• Voluntary & Involuntary Terminations • Problems of the Disabled • Recent Graduates • Newcomers to the Community • Internet Job Search Good Luck, Everyone!
