NEW LOCATION: We have moved to Improving in Plano, TX Presentation by: Eric Obrien Bio: Eric O’Brien started his career in Computer Ligation Support for the United States Attorney’s Office before migrating to the California Bay Area. There he began a 12-year career with AT&T, a multinational telecommunications corporation. At AT&T, he has worked in diverse roles such as a Test Quality Manager for 3 years on project Lightspeed/U-Verse (where he found a passion for coordinating large projects and programs). As a Lead Project/Program Manager for 4 years, he led a multi-million-dollar program portfolio. Then, inspired by an Agile Boot Camp, he became a Scrum Master for 2 years working on Cloud projects integrating with OpenStack and Pivotal Lab’s Cloud Foundry. This led to a move to the AT&T Headquarters in the Dallas Fort Worth area and a change in role to Agile Coach. Eric was a Scaled Agile Coach responsible for Scaled Agile Transformation for the AT&T Flexware Product line, providing leader-led training on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe, and as a subject matter expert for the AT&T Agile Center of Excellence. In July 2018, Eric departed AT&T to pursue a passion for Agile Coaching across multiple industries as a consultant. Eric received his Master's in Computer Science at Georgia Tech in the Summer of 2017 and remains a Post Graduate Instructor Associate and advisor for the Georgia Tech Online Master of Science Computer Science (OMSCS) program. Eric is a full time SPCT Gold Partner - Enterprise Lean Agille Coach for "The i4 Group" Come hungry as we will have pizza, chips and drinks.
