What we're about

Enjoy your weekend Meetup groups? But wish there was more during the week? Me too.

Maybe you're retired, work part-time, unemployed, a shift worker or just stinking rich?

Why not join us for some local walks?

Maybe 5 to 8 miles; probably picnic lunches (tho quick pub stops not ruled out); coast, moors and wolds.

Usually Mondays, possibly Thursdays...other days possible when additional organisers come forward.

No particular age limits although maybe 40+ is more likely.

A reasonable level of fitness and a high level of friendliness is more important!

The cost of each Meetup will be mimimal or free. There is no annual subscription. Equally, there are no guarantees about frequency...some weeks I will be busy or away. However, if you are interested in planning and leading a Meetup please speak to me about it.

Finally, for now. Dogs on walks are ok if the venue allows but please be considerate of others and ALWAYS clean up! These activities are just organised for friends...I am not a trained outdoors leader and cannot bear responsibility for you and your actions.
