Do you love romance as much as we do? Most every single novel has a romantic element – from “Gone with the Wind” to “Hunger Games.” Romance is publishing’s top-seller in the fiction market. So let’s stop hiding our romance novels on our Kindles and in our briefcases and purses. Don’t be shy – come share your passion for stirring, emotional stories. Join us here in the NW suburbs, (Schaumburg) every six weeks to discuss a romance book. We usually meet at Panera Bread on Schaumburg Road, nibble on a few cookies, partake in tea or coffee, and start chatting.
Liz, our group organizer, starts the discussion with a series of questions and every member offers her opinion on the book’s merits. We also enjoy socializing and getting to know one another better, too. Join us!
Hi Everyone, Panera Bread is allowing groups to gather in their restaurants now. They close at 8:00pm, so I have to start the meetup a little earlier than normal. If you can't make it at 6:30pm, come anyway and join us when you can. We will be discussing, Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsdale. It's a wonderful stand alone book in which a wealthy, rogue duke is aided by a devout Quaker woman. Can such a couple work out their differences and find lasting love, or will lifestyle tear them apart?
Please bring a mask. Pastries will be available. Please help yourself to a beverage and/or a meal. Make yourself at home. Hope to see you all there. Liz
