What we're about

Science Heads is on a mission to raise science literacy and support STEM education in our community! If you like science, technology, engineering, math, volunteering, and having a lot of fun, this group is for you! We have events at schools, libraries, museums, and parks; we participate in community events like festivals and parades; and we even do private events like birthdays and corporate events. We have a mobile observatory, dozens of hands-on science stations (with lots more to build!), high altitude balloon launches, and many more ideas that we want to make a reality!

We need people to volunteer with us in many capacities. We have organizational volunteer needs, like helping with event plans, hands-on station building and maintenance, social media, and being on the board of directors. We also need volunteers to help with events and programs, such as helping with set up and tear down or staffing a station at an event, or mentoring a group of kids.

You don't even have to "be good at" or have a background in STEM to join us. As long as you like STEM and want to help even more people enjoy it, you'll be welcome in our group!

This group is for people who want to volunteer with us. If you want to see us at a public event or schedule us to come to your event, please visit scienceheads.org for more information!
