Symposium 3
I'll be sharing some machine learning and data science projects. Come join this forum to present projects, share ideas, discuss current events, collaborate, mingle, nerd-out or just listen. The space is available for 2 hours, maximum. There is a television to plug your laptop into with HDMI port and WIFI. I will have some adapters for special ports. There is an outdoor patio where you can sit, sip some tea and exchange thoughts! This is old town Tustin with some quaint restaurants nearby. This is not a business and I'm not trying to promote anything nor will I be asking for 'donations'.

What we're about

The essence of the group will be to come present your project or ideas to the group for feedback, criticism or collaboration. This includes personal projects, work projects, business ideas, school projects, or presentations / tutorials to reinforce learned concepts. Some of mine include data science, machine learning, web development and music production with FL Studio. If you have Jupyter-Notebook then that's an good way to present your research. We'll have a TV for you to plug your computer into.

I have a conference site in old town Tustin which I could hold for an hour or two on the weekends. If a member would like to host at their home, then that would probably be fine. My apartment is small and the parking is horrible.

Are you working on a science project or problem you can't figure out or need some kind of support? This can be a good way to reinforce your knowledge by talking about it. Aside from the possible technical jargon your audience may lack, let us be your psychiatrist and point out your cognitive biases or shortcomings. Maybe you'd like to show us first as a test, instead of your colleagues or college professor so we can point out any problems. Maybe you'd like some motivation or inspiration or just some congenial company or social networking.... you'll find it here in this space.

We can also meet for other activities like walking, hiking, camping, playing music and tom-foolery.
