First up: Alasdair McGill, Founder of Ashton McGill, a Dundee-based Design and Innovation company, specialising in Customer Experience.
After qualifying as an accountant with EY in 1992, Alasdair has spent 24 years starting, growing and running businesses in a variety of industries. He is currently the Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Dundee, and was recently named as one of Scotland's top ten digital disruptors (http://www.scotsman.com/news/who-are-scotland-s-top-10-digital-disruptors-1-4238869).
Alasdair will talk to you about why the way we're working isn't working, and what changes should be done to create workplaces where we can be ourselves and where community, passion and purpose sit comfortably together.
Next up: Marjie Gracie, Founder of i, not robot
Marjie worked for organisations such as British Airways and Dell, Marjie's career has spanned over 20 years in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Starting at grass roots in a customer services role, her career trajectory has included a number of roles from Team Leader to Coach. In August of 2012, Marjie founded 'i, not robot'. Her intentionally named consultancy discovers and develops talented teams through a creative, thought-provoking and energetic approach to coaching and team dynamics.
