Meet like-minded people interested in meditation near you! Learn how to meditate or deepen your current meditation practice. A trademark of the meditations we emphasize is the ease in which they can be used both “on the cushion” and in our daily lives.
Each meeting will include practical, guided meditation, and a talk on how to reduce stress and other problems encountered in daily life and how to increase mental and physical well-being. There will also be plenty of time to discuss the ideas presented.
Although the meditations and talks are based on Kadampa Buddhist philosophy, you don't need to be a Buddhist to enjoy this group. Kadampa Buddhism stresses a spiritual path of individual transformation and to look within ourselves for the inner peace and happiness we seek. Everyone is welcome!

Our life is created by our thoughts. If we waste our mental energy by dwelling on the hum drum trivialities that normally compete for our attention, we will feel a lack of purpose in our life. If we focus our thoughts on that which is meaningful, then we will live intentionally, and our life will be filled with abundant happiness, satisfaction, resources and love.
A purposeful and intentional life is very simple. In this class we will examine simple guidelines, tips and Buddhist life hacks that will enable us to find joy and satisfaction. We will make this world that we all inhabit a better place.
