Esther Derby presents “Leaders at All Levels”: a joint Agile Richmond and ScrumRVA monthly meeting
About this Event
Agile Richmond and ScrumRVA, with incredible thanks to EdgeHill Consulting Group, are thrilled to bring to our community author, consultant, and guide Esther Derby.

Author with Diana Larsen of the foundational book, “Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great”, co-organizer of the fantastic PSL (Problem-Solving Leadership) workshop with Don Gray, Esther’s newest book – “7 Rules for Positive, Productive Change: Micro Shifts, Macro Results” – explores the ways change leaders at every level of an organization can shift how they support and attract change, and the heuristics these change leaders can use to help achieve outcomes while supporting and empowering those around them.

Join Esther as she discusses “Leaders at All Levels”, which she describes below:

Traditional definitions of leadership emphasize position, formal authority and power, vision, heroics. Those definitions might have been sufficient in another time. Organizations that need to respond to a fast-changing environment and desire continuous improvement require a different kind of leadership and a different kind of leader.

That requires that we think differently about leadership is, and what leaders do.

I hope you’ll join me to explore how to be a leader at any level.
