How many dives under your belt?

Around 415 and rising. I began diving in 2009 in California. Now diving on a regular basis in the UK....pretty challenging stuff.

How often do you dive?

I dive mainly off the southern coasts of the UK but take every opportunity to get away for longer trips.

How, specifically, did you find out about this group? (If you found us via another web site, please name it.)

There I was standing on the beach one day in London town when I threw a message in a bottle into the water. Lo and behold, those nice folk from Power Scuba found it on the Yukon and got in touch. Now what were the chances of that?

What features and events are you looking for in a dive group?

Deep and meaningful discussions about the juxtapositioning of post-modernism and existential angst. Then again, opportunities to get wet and sweaty in a rubber suit just might suffice.

What is your certification level and where did you get certified?

In the process of finishing up my PADI Master Diver licence and obtaining BSAC Dive Leader status.

Introduction

I am a Brit based in the UK who used to be a visiting professor at UCSD where I taught International Politics. Trips to San Diego are now for pure pleasure.
