Charles and I have just a few more openings in this workshop! Please read on for registration information -- RSVP via will not register you.

Join local professional photographer Charles Needle and Lightroom expert Laura Shoe at the peak of autumn color in Seattle's breathtaking Japanese Garden. In this 2-day workshop, you'll learn how to capture fall colors in pleasing compositions that evoke the spirit of the Garden.

We will gain special early-morning access to the Garden before it opens to the public, from 7:30 am to 10 am on both days with the use of tripods, for a total of six private hours of shooting with your tripod!

Charles, a professional garden photographer, will teach you how to best translate your creative vision into stunning imagery through lots of[masked] guidance in the Garden, including lessons on how to refine your composition and work under various lighting conditions. He will also cover various impressionistic creative camera techniques.

Experience post-capture lectures from internationally-recognized Lightroom expert, Laura Shoe. Laura will share specialized techniques for optimizing your images in Adobe Lightroom and help you master Lightroom's Develop controls. In addition, you'll learn how to use creative effects and presets to produce jaw-dropping imagery.

The tuition for this workshop seems extraordinarily high. I respect the ability and talents of the presenters but respectfully disagree with the asking price.

This sounds really fascinating and a good opportunity but out of my price range, sadly.
