Where would you like to see this group take you?

To Canlis for dinner! Ok maybe just to the next level of proficiency. I want to be able to get the shot I "see" regardless of the conditions. (don't we all?) I find that I learn with every conversation, and I am never disappointed at the willingness to help and the level of knowledge that I find among photographers in Seattle.

How many years have you been active in photography?

Five years or so... six?

What are your favorite photography subjects?

Urban wildlife, street or candid crowd, people. People always end up as my favorite, but then there are the crows. Long story on the crows, suffice it to say the neighbors and my kids call me the "crow whisperer" (lol) Intelligent critters!

Hi, I'm Dave, I like to do "candid portraits" I don't believe the term is an oxymoron. I believe that a portrait captures the subject's true spirit, and that a persons true spirit is most evident when the subject is most un-aware of your focus.
