I have always been interested in caring for the envionment, was an ecology major in college and was doing organic gardening for years and heard the term permaculture in the early 1990's and have been interested ever since.
A facilitator (Steve Whitman) in a permaculture class I am currently taking mentioned there are sometimes permaculture meet-up groups, so I looked online and found this one and a Central NH group listed.
I hope to learn more and more ways to understand and integrate and apply permaculture principles and practices in my life, a life I share with others, and be part of helping the world move towards harmonious living, and being involved with a group like this would enhance that learning.
Not yet, although I am knowledgable by profession in doing nutritional coaching and see the amazing connecton between our health and bodies and how sustainbility principles apply to our health and bodies. I have some knowledge in body chemistry, and have been amazed to learn how the soil and our bodies are alike, and I am able to talk to people about this mirrored connection.
I have enormous interest in learning to live beautifully, intelligently, and in harmony with Nature, and to share that learning and growth and action with others, and feel that permaculture practices offers us so many inspired models to do so!
