This is a free silent meditation group using the John Main Approach that is open to all provided through a nascent emerging contemplative community. The group is aimed at those who live and work in the area that would value a space to destress and learning to practice an anchor word form of meditation.
Each group follows the following process.
1. Welcome 2. Say name and level of stress 1=very relaxed 10=extremely stressed 3. Quick physiological relaxation 4. Quick intro to the John Main Approach 5. Twenty Minute Silent Meditation 6. Short reading from John Main 7. Quick recheck stress self rating 8. Ending
