This is a group for anyone interested in fitness, meeting new people and getting out and enjoying this beautiful area we live in. This is for all fitness levels-walkers, runners and anything in between. We just moved to the area and were in two 5K clubs where we came from. Tim is a runner and I walk/run. If you are not ready to do a 5K no problem, start with a mile or do what you can. We are not coaches or experts, just want to meet people and help encourage people to get moving
We will always have a 5K route, but if people are interested we can also have a 3 and 5 mile route. We change the location of the run/walk each week to allow for a little more variety, and exploration of this beautiful area we live in. If you have an idea for a location let us know.
Please check with your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have any health concerns. Members/Participants participate in activities at their own risk.
