~~ Introduction to blockchain and AWS Blockchain Templates ~~

Blockchain is a technology that makes it possible to build applications where multiple parties can record transactions without the need for a trusted, central authority to ensure that transactions are verified and secure. In this session, we explore blockchain frameworks, example use cases, and how AWS Blockchain Templates makes it easy for customers to experiment with these new technologies.

Bio: Jonathan Fritz is the Principal PM for AWS Blockchain Templates, an easy way for customers to use popular open source blockchain frameworks like Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum. Previously, he ran the product management team for Amazon EMR, managed service which enables customers to process vast amounts of data with Apache Hadoop and Spark ecosystem.
