What areas of philosophy are you most interested in?

I don't know if I have strong opinions. That woud imply I had a traditional concept of truth. Instead, I have strong preferences. I acknowledge them as preferences rather than truths. I seek to understand other people's preferences, even if they express them as if they were truths. I'm suspicious of the metaphysical program and somewhat critical of the philosophy that ignores the physical sciences. I tend to ignore mysticism as a preferential contrivance. I rely on a great deal of economic and behavioral data. Cheers

I work on Political economy / Political philosophy. Post-analytic pragmatism. I prefer to avoid symbols and to work using clear language and careful definitions. I tend to follow Spinoza's advice to speak in a maner comprehensible to common people.
