What we're about
This group is for anyone who enjoys doing bootcamp and high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, but would like the motivation of doing them in a group atmosphere. We will do these workouts outdoors for the most part. We will draw on exercises and workout combinations from well known programs like Crossfit, Freeletics, P90X, Insanity, Pilates, Yoga, etc. This is not personal training and there is no charge to participate. This is a true meetup for people wanting to do these activities as a group as well as motivate and learn from each other. All levels are welcome and everyone will workout at their own pace or level of intensity. Initially I will come with a planned workout. But as the group grows I will encourage others to offer workout plans. The typical workouts will include excercises like burpees, push ups, sit ups, pull ups, mountain climbers, leg lifts, squats, running, jumping, etc. In general, no equipment will be necessary, just bring water, maybe a towel or mat and a positive attitude. Currently, I expect that we will do these workouts in Roanoke Part, Montlake Park or at the stairs where Boylston turns into Lakeview Blvd., but we consider other locations as membership develops.
