How did you find out about our group?

Are you a dungeon master, a player, or both? Which do you like better?

I have considerable experience as both a Game Master and a player, and like them about equally. While I enjoy getting into my character's head and experiencing a world from their perspective, there's something really incredible about being able to create a living breathing world for people to enjoy. When I GM, I prefer to work with my players rather than compete with them-designing new mechanical bits that fit their characters, working their back stories into the game, and allowing everything they do to have a real and noticeable impact on the campaign. Railroading and the phrase "it does nothing" are my two biggest pet peeves. I typically sketch out a brief story for my games but it's by no means set in stone-more of a skeleton that just details what would happen if not for the actions of the player characters. Furthermore, I try to be as accommodating as possible with regards to individual players. Need a ride? Need some snacks? Need to talk? I'm game.

What is your favorite version of D&D (basic to 5th edition, Pathfinder, 13th Age, etc.)

I'm an experienced Game Master and player, who has experience with a wide variety of different game systems. I currently play in a 4th edition D&D campaign but would love to start one of my own up.
